sedd: to be cold

Dafa sedd! exclaim all the Senegalese. It is the winter months here, in Dakar, and the Senegalese are chilled to the bone. But for me, I am dying in the heat! It is a funny sight to see—me, sweating in my t-shirt and leggings walking down the road, under the searing sun. And surrounding me, Senegalese in jackets, full suits and ties, even puffy winter coats—not a bead of sweat on their faces!
